First, let’s start with one of the big highlights, which is the 42-day banner update. This change will be implemented in update 5.3, where MiHoYo is changing how we do prayers.

The thing is, the character banner will last the entire 42-day version, meaning you’ll have the full update to pull your favorite character.

The other thing is that the rerun banner will still start after 21 days and will be available alongside the main banner.

So, basically, what is happening is that you will have more time but also more temptation. So, do you think this is a good thing or a bad thing?

The second update is changes in characters.

Let’s first start with Mavuika. She just keeps getting better and better. I bet you didn’t know that her Constellation C6 is great for exploration.

When she is riding her motorcycle and out of combat, her Nightsoul points will auto-generate.

80 Nightsoul points will generate every 15 seconds when they drop to 5. I mean, just think about it—cool, right?

Another thing is her Constellation C2, which got a massive improvement. Instead of improving her attack based on stats, it now directly increases the damage of her normal and charged attacks.

Plus, her Solar Slash from her ultimate is boosted by up to 180%. You could say that she’s fire—sorry, not fire—volcano. That’s all for Mavuika, our hot queen.

Next, we have our Traveler. Traveler’s Constellation 6 has improved the Critical Damage boost, applying only to specific attacks, rather than just a general increase.

Meanwhile, their elemental skill no longer mentions attack scaling in the description. It is now purely a Pyro damage dealer. What do you think? I guess that’s it for Traveler.

Moving on to Citlali, I mean, my favorite—her kit also got some love. The improvements are more support-focused.

Her passive now restores 20 Flogiston points to the team whenever she applies a Nocturnal Burst. It’s small but super useful—of course, unless you’re in the Abyss or Domains, because it doesn’t work there.

Wait, one more thing: her elemental skill also got updated.

There’s a weird green mark that hints at changes—or maybe a bug? Honestly, who knows? MiHoYo always works in surprising ways.
